Nurse-Led Care, Built on Experience and Trust

Our story

Sanctuary Manor was established on a clear principle: people thrive when they can receive quality care in the place they call home. Home is where memories are made, routines are familiar and independence is easiest to maintain.
Through years of clinical practice, our founder observed the challenges older people and their families face in accessing coordinated, reliable care. Families were often left to manage multiple providers, inconsistent carers and limited clinical oversight. Too often, small changes in health went unnoticed until they became serious.

Sanctuary Manor was created to meet that need. We bring professional nursing expertise and practical daily support together in one trusted service, so clients receive care that is safe, consistent and genuinely personal. Our name reflects our purpose: to make every home a sanctuary of comfort, safety and dignity.

Our founder

Sujita Pandit KC, Registered Nurse, Founder and Director

Sujita is a Registered Nurse with more than ten years of experience across aged care and clinical settings. Throughout her career, she has cared for people managing chronic illness, recovering after hospitalisation, living with dementia and receiving palliative care.

Sujita brings strong clinical knowledge, sound judgement and a deep commitment to person-centred practice. Her experience has taught her that the best outcomes come from listening carefully, communicating openly and treating every person as an individual with their own history, preferences and goals.

As Founder and Director, Sujita personally oversees every care plan at Sanctuary Manor. She leads the team with a focus on clinical excellence, clear communication and respect for each client’s choices, and she remains closely involved in the day-to-day delivery of care.

Our approach to care

Our model of care is built on clinical governance and person-centred practice. Every client is assessed by a Registered Nurse before care begins, and care plans are reviewed regularly to reflect changing needs. Our carers work under nursing supervision, which means concerns are identified early and acted on quickly.

We believe good care is a partnership. We involve clients and families in decisions, respect cultural and personal values, and keep everyone informed. Our aim is not only to meet care needs, but to support a full, meaningful life at home.

Our values

  • Dignity: We treat every person with respect and protect their right to make choices about their own care.

  • Integrity: We are transparent in our communication, our pricing and our standards of practice.

  • Compassion: We take the time to listen and understand before we provide care.

  • Excellence: We maintain high clinical standards and continually review the quality of our services.

  • Continuity: We provide consistent carers who build lasting, trusted relationships with clients and families.

We maintain thorough care records, follow clear clinical procedures, and welcome feedback from clients and families as an essential part of continuous improvement.
